EBSCO is an online database that features full-text articles from magazines, encyclopedias and other sources of information. The Department of Education pays for a subscription to for all public schools in
Nova Scotia . The database is available to students and their families, teachers, staff, board staff, and administrators.

Generated from by the Insignia Library system, teachers may search by author, title, subject, etc. By choosing the Curriculum search tab, teachers will find a list of specific Health outcomes and appropriate materials currently available for each outcome. (The focus of the Dartmouth Teachers’ Centre because is Grades 7-12.)

This online catalogue of resources allows you to do real-time searches of the videos that we have available. The database allows a searcher to put in a search string like "health grade 4". If you do this, the results that you get provide details about the videos that we have available at the Media Library. The database also allows searching of more specific topics. We are trying to catalogue the videos so that they are connected to GCO's or SCO's at a particular grade level. Searchers can then email the results of their searches to themselves at their staff.ednet accounts. For more information please contact:
